Hope to splash TODAY. Then, leave for the Galapagos on Sunday (Ides of March). Anya safely arrived and has been a BIG help with crew work. Will take us 5 days to get to the Galapagos.Have signed up for Winlink's position reports while underway. Boat is full to the brim and almost everything is tucked (smashed and squished) into every available cubby. Alas, we will not starve. Almost all important boat projects done. ... ah, almost.....
Still have to hook up refrigerator, water system, toilet and such when we get to anchor and are in the water. Lots of work for the every body today. However, we are still going to have a splashing fiesta...the poppy seed rum cake is in the oven.
