This morning we all had breakfast together (scrambled eggs and bacon or pancakes or fish) and spent our day with doing whatever we wanted. Some of us went swimming or spent the day reading. John went to the boat to fix the refrigerator pump and I went to the internet café in the morning and ended up talking (live) with my brother, which was great because I haven’t spoken him since the beginning of July and that was only for 3 minutes. I could see him on the computer and hear his voice. I love this technology: we are both on the other side of the world and still we can see each other and talk to each other as if we are just next door!
We got a surprise visit from our friends from s/v Emilia who had their boat in the next bay over. They walked from that bay to Club Bali Hai and spent the afternoon with us around the pool. We went out for ice cream and enjoyed chocolate and coffee ice cream on our patio. At the end of the day John drove them back to the bay and we made a deal to go on a hike the next day. Well… their hike takes 8 hours so we made a deal to meet them half way at 2 pm and climb down with them again. Sounds like fun!
