The days here at Club Bali Hai are lazy and relaxed. We all do what we want to do. I think John is getting a long deserved holiday whilst being surrounded by his harem and that he is enjoying the ladies fussing over him. Who wouldn’t? I start most days with an early dip in the pool to do some laps and then return to the room for a shower. Most of the time Gaby is up by then and sometimes we are even joined by Sami to have breakfast with Ann, Judy and John. The rest of the day is spent playing on the computer (Gaby and Sami love playing Zoo on my computer), reading our Harry Potter books, going to the internet café to chat or just talking, whilst enjoying each others company.
Today we took our cars back to the Intercontinental Hotel for a lovely lunch. Ann, Judy and I had enjoyed our lunch last Sunday that we decided that the others should enjoy it as well. We had a great lunch together and afterwards did some shopping in the hotel lobby. I bought the pictures from my dolphin adventure on CD-ROM and got some extra pictures of the dolphins thrown in. Afterwards, Gaby, Sami and John took one car to go back to Club Bali Hai and Judy, Ann and I decided to drive around the island and explore some more. We ended up in a cute little pareo store where Ann bought many gifts for her friends and Judy was torn between buying two pareo’s she really liked or saving the money to go to Easter Island. She was very strong and decided not to buy it. We went on and passed some beautiful views and stopped several times to take them in and to take pictures to show back home. We got home just in time for a nice afternoon swim before enjoying our dinner together on the terrace looking out over Cook’s Bay.
