The occassional update
Sailing Vessel Encanto is still in American Samoa. Captain and crew are very ready and waiting. The seas are nasty outside the anchorage, choppy seas, with 7’ slop. Glad I'm not there!!! No need to go out in THAT type of weather. Only a fool goes into a tantrum. Tradewinds keep tracking well, but the seas need to calm a bit before Encanto and crew venture out. No need to put up with “crap” and break something when you can wait it out.
Captain says, they will try again to depart in a few days. In the meantime, more time to enjoy the islands, more cinnamon rolls from the Seaside Bakery, and Valimas (Samoan Beer).
