Bon Voyage -- Fair winds and following seas!
Captain John with his crew members, Gene and Royce, departed American Samoa today. According to the Captain, the tradewinds are there with a good 15 to 20 knots to boost them out to the sea, a good starting line push. They’ll head north to Midway Island before crossing to San Francisco. The journey should take them between 50 and 60 days , as they make this passage across the largest extent of open blue water.
